ABOUT RIVER STOUR SAFARIS

River Stour Safaris was established in 2009 to inspire more people of all ages to explore the River Stour from a boat.

“We were lucky enough to have had this opportunity ourselves when we were growing up and felt that this should be available to everyone”.

River Stour safaris is a social enterprise. Funds from fee-paying customers are used to provide local community groups with subsidised or free access to the facilities and activities, so by coming paddling with River Stour Safaris you are also helping others to discover the River Stour.

Your safety is our primary concern at all times. All instructors at River Stour Safaris are British Canoe Union / UKCC Level 2 qualified coaches, CRB checked and First Aid qualified. All participants will receive a full equipment and safety brief as part of the shore based instruction before taking to the water. All of our kit and safety equipment is up to date and inspected regularly for serviceability.
